Redemption '03

Those of you who were at Redemption '99 or Redemption '01 will already know the following from the letter you should have received. For the rest of you, here is the official announcement for Redemption 2001.

Redemption '01 was such a success, the committee has decided to do it again - in 2003. Around 300 people attended Redemption '01, raising £2400, which was split equally between our two charities - the National Asthma Campaign and the Woodland Trust. The same two charities will receive all the profits from the next event as well.

Redemption '03 will be held from 21 to 23 February 2003, again at the Ashford International Hotel in Kent. The convention will repeat the formula of concentrating on fan run events, such as games, workshops, panels and debates, that proved so popular last time.

Blake's 7 and Babylon 5 will again be the themes. Chris Boucher has agreed to be a guest, others to be announced later. All guest appearances are subject to work commitments.

The committee is made up of Steve Rogerson, Eddie Cochrane, Chris O'Shea, Judith Proctor, Lesley and David McIntee.

For more information, send an sae to Lesley McIntee, 26 Kings Meadow View, Wetherby LS22 7FX or email redemptioninfo@smof.com.
