Here are a few Linux bits and pieces that I have here:

- My experiences with getting Ubuntu Linux up and running on an HP Compaq nc8430
laptop. This is pretty thin, since I'm now a confirmed SUSE user. It may
be of some help, though.

- My experiences with getting OpenSUSE Linux up and running on a
Sony Vaio TXN25 laptop.
- Instant Mode on a Linux-Only Sony Vaio TXN25
- My sucessful attempt at wiping Windows off a Sony laptop and keeping
the Instant Mode DVD player application working.
- Linux Compose Key Sequences
- A table of the compose key sequences which can be used
to enter accented characters and other things not on your
keyboard.
- Linux Benchmarking
- Some information on benchmarking Linux systems, along with UnixBench 5.0,
a version of the venerable Byte benchmarks updated to handle multi-CPU
systems.
