To Inverness:
Inverness is in the center of the Highlands of Scotland, within
easy reach of the Grampian Mountains to the south and the beautiful
West coast, and just north of Loch Ness. It is connected to the south
by the A9 road, which leads to Stirling, Glasgow and Edinburgh, and by
rail and air links.
To North Kessock:
North Kessock is located just north of Inverness, on the main A9
road which connects Inverness to both the north and south.
Inverness is within easy reach, across the Kessock Bridge.
From the south:
- Follow directions to Inverness.
- After coming over Drumossie Moor (with spectacular views over the
town), stay on the main A9 road, past all exits for Inverness.
- After passing the new football stadium at the Longman, you will
cross over the Kessock brodge to the Black Isle.
- Take the next exit on the left (after the tourist information
stop), for North Kessock.
Once in North Kessock:
Glenarm is down on the waterfront at the East end of the village,
close to the Kessock bridge.
- Follow the road down through the village to the waterfront.
- Keep driving along the front, past the turning area on the right
(a favourite spot for dolphin-watchers), and past the doubled section
of road, towards the bridge, until you arrive at the new row of houses
on the left.
- Glenarm is the second of the new houses.
