About Hermit Eclipse

The Hermit Eclipse site is owned and operated by me, with the aim of providing information about solar and lunar eclipses in a way that's accessable and easy to read. This is a non-profit site, provided for free, with no advertising; I do this out of personal interest, and in what little spare time I have.

Please bear in mind that I'm not a professional (or even amateur) astronomer; so the information here shouldn't be seen as authoritative or definitive. However, I certainly do my best to get it right. What I think I have done is pull together a lot of interesting information about eclipses in one place. If I've messed it up in the process, I apologise; let me know, and I'll do my best to fix it.

If you like this site, feel free to let me know! And if you think it could be better, let me know that too; I'm always keen to improve and expand this site, bearing in mind the basic scope (eclipses, not astronomy in general, for example). Contributions are always welcome, too!
