Miscellaneous terms

Notes

The main listings are in alphabetical order by the usual names of the characters, EXCEPT that regular characters are always listed before minor characters or crossover characters. (Example: Cally/Jenna, BUT Jenna/Avalon.) In case this system is confusing, cross-references are included whenever possible.

The order of letters indicating a pairing (example: A/B vs. B/A) is also alphabetical and is not intended to indicate anything about which is the dominant partner or the viewpoint character.

The pairings are not necessarily either mutual or consummated; they may include anything from a rape to a fantasy or unrequited interest. These listings are more accurate than those in the First Edition of the Guide, since I have now reread many of the stories; but they are still not absolutely guaranteed to be accurate. Your comments and corrections are very welcome.
