Whilst carrying out repair work on Scorpio, the crew see three Federation ships
explode with no apparent cause. Slowing the replay down, they see it was an attack by Space
Choppers moving at an incredible speed.

Orac concludes they had the new Photon Drive System, perfected by Dr Plaxton. The Scorpio
crew plan to use it on their engines - but they have to get it first.
